CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS
The Village of McFarland Utilities is now accepting credit card payments through GovPayNet. To make a credit card or debit card payment, call 888-604-7888 or visit www.GovPayNow.com and enter the PLC #7522. There is a fee for this service. Allow four (4) business days for processing of your payment, which does not include weekends or holidays.
Example 1: For payments made on Tuesday, the payment will not be processed until the following Friday.
Example 2: For payments made on Saturday, the payment will not be processed until the following Thursday.

Recall Election - June 5, 2012 Type E Notice
The Police Explorers will not be hosting the annual village wide garage sale this year. If a new sponsor is secured, there is a possibility of the even being held later this summer. If your organization is interested in sponsoring, please contact us at 838-3151.
Yard/Garden Waste - Important Changes for 2012
As of 2012, curbside collection is a fee-based service. Materials must be placed in bags with Village-issued stickers in order to be collected curbside. Non-expiring stickers will cost $2 per bag (up to 50 gallon) and will be sold in multiples of 5 at all municipal facilities and several local retail outlets. Another disposal option is to transport materials to the free drop-off site at the Public Works facility at 5115 Terminal Drive.
The 2012 Yard/Garden Waste curbside collection schedule is as follows:
Week of May 14th (the whole village)
Week of November 12th (the whole village)
A free alternative is to bring your yard waste to the drop off site at the Public Works Facility, 5115 Terminal Drive. The site is open 7 days a week from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Welcome to the Village of McFarland
Welcome to the official website for the Village of McFarland located in McFarland, Wisconsin.
The Village is located along U.S. Highway 51 and the east shore of Lake Waubesa. It is located directly south of Madison, 90 miles west of Milwaukee, 150 miles north of Chicago, 100 miles east of Dubuque, and 250 miles south of Minneapolis. The Village shares borders with the City of Madison to the north, the Town of Dunn to the west, south, and southeast, and the Town of Blooming Grove to the east. McFarland is located in an expanding urban area in Dane County, where growth and development has outpaced most other metropolitan areas in Wisconsin. A strong regional economy and higher educational opportunities have spurred much of this growth and expansion during the last decade. Total population, employment, and development are forecasted to continue growing in the region over next two decades, with McFarland positioned to accommodate some of this growth in a balanced, well-planned manner.
