Powers and Duties: Appoints the Police Chief and Fire Chief, establishes hiring and promotional eligibility lists for Police and Fire Department employees, and hears and decides disciplinary matters involving sworn police officers and paid firefighter positions.

Composition/Terms: 5 citizen members (5 year terms)
