What is McFarland Cable?
WMCF is the Village of McFarland's local Community Television Station. Community access includes Government meetings, Educational meetings and events of Local Origination (Local Events Coverage.) The station began in the late 70's with a core group of volunteers. Today cable has a small part-time paid staff and continues to provide coverage of many community local events.

Where is McFarland Cable Located?
WMCF Cable is located on Charter cable subscribers channel line up at analog channel 98 or digital channel 982. Our offices are located in the McFarland Municipal Center at 5915 Milwaukee Street. Our Mailing Address is P. O. Box 110, McFarland WI 53558. Our Cable channel occasionally utilizes studio and production facilities at the McFarland High School, located on Farwell Street.
How is McFarland Cable Funded?
The funding McFarland Cable receives comes from the annual franchise fees the Village receives from Charter Communications. WMCF Cable is Not Funded by general tax dollars from the Village of McFarland.
What do we do at McFarland Cable?
WMCF produces community television and serves as a resource for the community to keep in touch with local events. Our Cable Channel serves as a direct link to Local Village and School Government through regular “live” meeting coverage.
In addition to Programming our cable channel also provides a community bulletin board which runs upcoming local events and announcements. Local organizations can submit a request to run a page. Some examples of groups who use this service include the Schools, Village Departments, Local clubs and civic organizations.
