The Community Development Department oversees planning as well as building inspection functions through administration of the Village's zoning, subdivision and building codes. Review of certified survey maps, subdivision plats, planned developments, site/design reviews, variance requests, conditional use permits, and plan review of residential homes is accomplished through the administration of these codes. Plans affecting the physical development of our community, e.g., Comprehensive Plan, Neighborhood Plans, Outdoor Recreation Plan, and Downtown Master Plan, are developed through this Department.
Our offices are located in the Municipal Center at 5915 Milwaukee Street, McFarland, Wisconsin (mailing address of P.O. Box 110, McFarland, Wisconsin 53558-0110).
Office Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday (7:30 a.m. by appointment)
(Building Inspector: 7:45 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Tuesday and Thursday / 12:30 p.m. - 4:15 p.m. Monday and Friday / Not in the Village on Wednesday)
