CABLE TV PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
The Village of McFarland is seeking a part-time production assistant for its local access cable television station. Days and hours of work will vary and generally average 4-6 hours per week. Work will be performed between 6:00 – 10:00 p.m., Monday-Thursday. Primary duties include videorecording and broadcasting government/school meetings and community/school events, video editing and formatting, and duplicating and distributing videos. Must be able to work independently and to operate a variety of equipment used in the production of cable television programming, including video cameras and recorders, video servers, video editing equipment, audio mixers, and studio switcher/character generator. Desired qualifications include familiarity and experience with television production equipment and procedures, but will train person with strong interest and long term commitment to the field. $11.50 per hour with no benefits.
