Tai Chi

You are invited to join Margaret Amyotte (from Sydney Australia) to learn the ancient Chinese art of Tai Chi.  Tai Chi combines meditation and movement, making it a perfect activity for people of all ages and abilities. Tai Chi enhances balance and co-ordination, provides flexibility and strength.

Margaret will guide you through the techniques of Tai Chi, including hand techniques, stances and standing exercises.  You will learn the skills to master the basic patterns, and gain a greater understanding of Tai Chi’s essential principles and the benefits it can bring.

Tai Chi classes will meet on Fridays from 9:00 – 10:00 am.   Cost is $5 per class, pre-paid per month.   The first class is free for those wanting to try out the class before making a commitment.  Interested participants should contact Outreach at 838-7117.  A minimum of five people are needed to run this class.
