Responsibilities: General Patrol Officer Duties to include: traffic enforcement, accident investigation, calls for service, community policing, state law and ordinance enforcement, special events, etc.
Salary: $23.86 - $30.90 per hour **Salary dependent on qualifications - Lateral Entry Applicants Encouraged**

SCHOOL CROSSING GUARDS - Ongoing Recruitment
The Village of McFarland is currently accepting applications for School Crossing Guard positions beginning in September of 2016. This position is responsible for safely escorting school age children across heavily traveled streets, monitoring the approach of children and of oncoming traffic, and stopping traffic if necessary to enable children to cross the street safely.
Must be at least 18 years old and able to gauge, direct, and control traffic, bicycle, and pedestrian movements. All necessary equipment and training will be provided. Hours are mainly from 7:40 a.m. to 8:10 a.m. and 2:40 p.m. to 3:10 p.m. on school days, however applicants who can only work morning or afternoon shifts, or on a fill-in basis will also be considered.
