a. Motion to approve pre-paid checks #55262-55277 in the amount of $5,628,308.20 and current checks #55278-55340 in the amount of $75,000.03.
b. Motion to approve the recommendation from Police Chief Sherven that the Alcohol
Beverage Operator’s License application submitted by Aren Larson (5100 Bar) be
approved and that the license be issued.
5. BUSINESS.
a. Action on a recommendation from the Public Safety Committee to approve the issuance
of a “Special Event License” and a Temporary Class “B” Fermented Malt Beverage
License/Temporary “Class B” Wine License to the Madison Curling Club for the 2012
Junior Curling National Championship to be held from 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 28,
2012 to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the Madison Curling Club, 4802
Marsh Road.
b. Action on a recommendation from the Public Safety Committee to allow minors to be
present where alcohol is served during the 2012 Junior Curling National Championship
to be held from 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2012 to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday,
February 4, 2012 at the Madison Curling Club, 4802 Marsh Road.
c. Action on a recommendation from the Public Safety Committee that proposed Ordinance #2012-02, regarding the adoption of State Statute 946.66, False Complaints against Police Officers, be approved.
d. Discussion and possible action on the draft mission statement and composition structure for the proposed Indian Mounds Maintenance Committee.
e. Board, Commission, and Committee agenda item requests and referrals.
6. PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENTS AND COMMUNICATIONS.
a. Public Announcements
(1) Deadline for paying first installment of property taxes – January 31.
(2) Dog and cat licenses and dog park permits have expired and must be renewed for 2012.
(3) Income Tax Assistance – Feb. 10 and Feb. 24
(4) Spring Primary Election to be held on February 21, 2012 for the office of Circuit Court Judge – Branch 11.

7. CLOSED SESSION.
a. Motion to convene in Closed Session in accordance with Wis. Stats. §19.85(1) (c) to consider employment, promotion, compensation, or performance evaluation data of any public employee over whom the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility (employee performance evaluation).
8. OPEN SESSION
a. Motion to adjourn the Closed Session and reconvene in Open Session to act on items of business discussed in Closed Session.
