The McFarland Senior Outreach Services Department provides a variety of services and programs for people over the age of 60, living in the Village of McFarland, Town of Dunn, Town of Pleasant Springs, Village of Cambridge, Village of Rockdale and Town of Christiana.
Our case managers assist older adults in the community to navigate through a maze of information and to identify resources to promote wellness and independence within their home. The nutrition program offers noon meals at our meal sites in McFarland and Cambridge and coordinates home delivered meals to homebound seniors in the community.
Other services include health and wellness activities, educational programs, and social groups. Outreach coordinates transportation services for shopping and the meal site along with rides for medical appointments. A medical loan closet is available for short-term use.
All Are Welcome
We welcome all seniors regardless of race, religion, gender, expression, national origin, disability, marital status, or sexual orientation.
Due to continued staffing concerns related to illness Senior Outreach Services will be scaling operations down to the following for an indefinite amount of time, but at least through October 10th. Read on...
