13th Annual McFarland Community Service Day

Saturday, April 23, 2022 - 8 a.m. to Noon

Resolve to get involved! Roll up your sleeves and pitch in to celebrate Earth Day by cleaning up our parks, shorelines, roadways and public spaces in McFarland. Family-friendly volunteer opportunities for all ages.

Check in at the McFarland Municipal Center, 5915 Milwaukee St. on Saturday, April 23rd between 8 a.m. and noon.

• All supplies needed will be available for pick up.
• Coffee, juice, doughnuts, and healthy snacks provided for all volunteers, courtesy of Kwik Trip.
• All volunteers may enter a drawing to win one of two $50 gift certificates to West Star Organics.
• Bring a donation of non-perishable food items for the McFarland Food Pantry to receive a token for a scoop of custard or a tasty treat, courtesy of Culvers of McFarland and Rock n Rollz.

Recyclable Donations

If you are doing some spring cleaning and are looking to clear some items out from your home, McFarland Community Service Day will also offer residents an opportunity to drop off a variety of recyclable items at the McFarland Municipal Center Parking Lot between the hours of 8 a.m. and noon. Do not leave any items outside of the designated drop off hours.

• Electronics Recycling with World of Ron: Recycle e-waste such as computers, tablets, laptops, cell phones, game systems, audio equipment, remote controls, speakers and broken appliances. Some items have a small fee for recycling. Larger items may be eligible for home pick up. Check to see list of acceptable materials for donation. 
• Habitat ReStore:  Donations of building materials, appliances in good working order, functional power/hand tools, and furniture in excellent condition. All donations must be inspected before being accepted. Check to see list of acceptable materials for donation. Your donations help to support Habitat for Humanity.
