I’ve lived in McFarland since 2014.
Why Did You Decide to Become an Elected Official?
McFarland is a growing community and serving as a Trustee on our Village Board affords me the opportunity to be an advocate for all members of our Village. Serving on the Board affirms my serious commitment to McFarland.
Can You Describe Your Work History?
Prior to being a stay-at-home parent to our son, I was a Middle Level educator for 15 years.
Can You Describe Your Educational History?
I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary/Middle Level Education and English from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and returned to graduate school to obtain a Reading Specialist license.
What Are Some of Your Favorite Activities or Events in McFarland?
My family and I are grateful to live in a community that provides such exquisite parks and outdoor recreational spaces. We love biking, hiking, surveying all the great playgrounds, enjoying all the different serene bodies of water, frequenting the library and taking advantage of the various children’s programs available, chillin’ with our fabulous neighbors, and enjoying a nice glass of vino at Angelo’s.
What Do You Enjoy Doing in Your Free Time?
I enjoy reading, spending time with family and friends, working out, cooking, listening to music, anything and everything outdoors, and cheering on the, Bucks, Brewers, Badgers, and Buccaneers (A choice made by my ever-so-wise 13-year-old self; I am not a fair weather fan or previous card holder of the Tom Brady Fan Club- pinky promise!).
